Try this summer something different, new and exciting! Join us on hiking and canyoning adventure to the Rakitnica canyon and the most remote village of Bosnia and Herzegovina – the Lukomir village.
Exploring hidden gorges, jumping and sliding down waterfalls, swimming in natural pools and discovering the thrill of canyoning will become one of your best memories so far. After a day spent in the canyon, we will hike to the Lukomir village – where we will overnight.
Lukomir is the village at the highest altitude and the most remote one in the entire country. On the edge of the village you will be treated to a breathtaking view of Rakitnica Canyon which drops 800m below and which we passed through. You will be able to meet villagers and hear about their fascinating lifestyle.
The next day we will hike to the Umoljani village, see the Studeni potok valley and hear about all the legends that surrounds this area. In Umoljani we will have lunch and hike back to the start point from the previous day.
