This 3 day tour will provide you an amazing and different discovery of the Sutjeska National Park – the oldest one in Bosnia and Herzegovina! With its height of 2.386 MASL, even in summer, mountain Maglić often lives up to its name – The Mist Mount.
ITINERARY
DAY 1
Sarajevo city
Meet your team and guide at airport SJJ, then drive to the old town of Sarajevo where you’ll stop for lunch and rest from the flight. Visit of cultural and historical sights in the old town to burn some calories from the lunch. Driving to Tjentište, check in to the accomodation and discuss plans for the coming days over dinner.
(30 min of driving, 1h of walking, 2 h and 15 min of driving)
DAY 2
Maglić
After good night sleep and rest early breakfast and packing for the climbing Maglić, driving from accomodation to Dernečište starting point of trail to the Maglić. After climbing to the highest peak of Bosnia and Herzegovina you descend to the heart-shaped lake. Enjoying the scenery and recovering the strenght for the last section of the hike.Driving to the accomodation for the rest and delicious dinner.
(1 h of driving, 7-9 h hiking, 19 km, 830 m up and down, 1 h of driving)
DAY 3
Tjentište
Breakfast and visiting the monument Tjentište, before driving to the airport in time for your flight home.
