Where time stands still

An unforgettable tour from “Where time stands still” to “The Mountain eye”

In Lukomir, the highest altitude and most remote village in the entire country, life remains as it must have been hundreds of years ago. The unique Bosnian medieval tombstones are watching over this peaceful village, and they are witnesses of life that has inhabited this area for centuries. On the edge of the village, you will be amazed by a breathtaking view of Rakitnica Canyon which drops 800 m below.

Surrounded by green, coniferous and broad-leaved woods, characterized by an alpine climate and by crystal-clear water the Boračko lake is often called ” The Mountain eye”. The lake attracts a large number of tourist, sportsmen, fishermen and sightseers all intoxicated and bewitched by the romantic charm of the place.
